But to get where he is today, Hervey had to knock on quite a few doors…literally! He was determined to work in public policy during his studies at Georgetown, but after graduation he changed course and wanted to work at the designer clothing Web site Gilt. After first having coffee with “anyone at the company who agreed to do so,” Hervey eventually rose to be the company’s strategy and business development manager. His latest endeavor is Pager, a mobile service that connects health-care professionals with patients.
